Welcome to another week!

Monday kicks off the Celebrate Literacy Week celebration. Many wonderful activities to promote reading are scheduled throughout the week. 

On Thursday, we will hold our New Worlds Reading family night - please pre-register to attend. Dinner is provided for all participants who are registered. By attending you will also help our school because we will receive funds for every person in attendance.

After School Tutoring

A huge thank you to all the families participating in our tutorial sessions - students have been picked up on time and parents have been at the bus stops to meet their students. This is super helpful as it makes the already long day just a little shorter for our students. 

Tutorial continues this week and it takes place on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and/or Thursday based on the sessions that students signed up for.

SAC Special Meeting

Our SAC will meet on Friday, January 26 at 4 PM for a special meeting to review and vote on our School Recognition Funds expenditure plan. It is important that all voting members are present.

Individual APTT Meetings

Our APTT meetings are in full swing! If you have not heard from your child’s teacher yet they will contact you soon to schedule your individual Academic Parent Teacher Team meeting. These meetings are held to review your child’s progress in class.

Jump Rope for Heart

It is time for our annual Jump Rope For Heart! The event takes place on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 8:15-10:15. There will be music, games, snow cones, a dunk tank, and lots of fun. Students brought home their participation envelopes last week. Students who wish to attend should fill out and return the donation form to Coach Hackett  along with a $5.00 to the American Heart Association.  All donations and permission slips are due on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

We thank you for your continued support of the American Heart Association! We raised $6,124 last year and have raised $32,473 lifetime.
