Welcome to Week 36!

We have a busy week ahead! Just one month to go - let’s keep going and finish strong!!!

The swim unit in PE concluded on Friday. Thank you Coach Hackett for making this possible and ensuring that our students are exposed to the basic safety skills when around water. Several grade levels will return to the pool for their end of the year PBIS day, and others will hold a water day at school.

Spring State Assessments

The final round of state assessments starts on May 2. Letters explaining the assessment procedures were sent home with students during the week of April 10. Above is our assessment schedule with grade level testing dates. Please ensure that your child can be at school, on time, and remain all day on their designated test date. We are rooting for all of our Tigers as they are taking these important end of the year assessments! Parents - you can help by talking to your child about doing their very best, and telling them that you are proud of them.

School Picture Orders

Just a reminder that the pictures or the orders were due on Friday, April 28. Each family should have returned either the pictures or the money for the order. If you have not had an opportunity, please do so this week. Thank you!

Zonewaiver Applications

Okeechobee County Schools are now accepting zone waivers for the 2023-2024 school year. If your child is currently on a zone waiver and you wish your child to remain at their current school, you do not need to fill out a zone waiver. Here are the links to letters explaining the procedures in detail. The zonewaiver applications will be accepted until May 20, 2023.
