Welcome to another week at NES! Last week, we wrapped up the Florida Standards Assessment for the month of April. Thank you everyone for your role in ensuring that the testing process was smooth and error free!
PTO Meeting
Our Parent Teacher Organization will meet on Tuesday, April 12 at 4:30 PM in our office to start planning the Teacher Appreciation Week activities. We hope you can join us!
Spring Pictures Day
Our Spring Pictures Day is on Wednesday, April 13. Kindergarten students will be taking their Cap and Gown pictures this year.
No School on Friday
There is no school on Friday. Happy Easter!

Kindergarten Registration
NES 2022-2023 kindergarten registration and students’ screening will take place on Tuesday, April 19, with a makeup session in the afternoon of Friday, April 22. Please call us Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 3 PM at 863-462-5100 to make your appointment. We cannot wait to meet our newest Tigers!
OCSB Summer Programs
Invitations to K-2 camps were sent home with targeted students on Friday, April 1. If there are available seats after the first round, we will send out more invites. Grades 3 reading camp letters will be sent once we receive the Florida Standards Assessment results in May. Please follow this link 2022 OCSB Summer Program Registration to explore and sign up for the remaining summer programs offered to students this summer. If students are invited to specific camps, they should attend those before signing up for other camps.

School Safety
All students have access to the Fortify FL reporting app on their Chromebooks at school. Fortify FL posters posted around campus to remind students they can report suspicious activity at any time using the app.
