Spring Book Fair

Our Spring Book Fair opened early on February 16, and will continue throughout February 24. Family Night at the Book Fair for Wednesday, February 22 from 5-6:30 PM. Fun activities to include character story time and magic tricks are planned. Students will receive a balloon animal with purchase until supplies last. You do not want to miss this!!!

Bus Driver Appreciation Day

Wednesday, February 22 is Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Please help us in thanking our amazing bus drivers for keeping everyone safe on the road!

 

3rd Grade Career Fair

A huge thank you to our 3rd grade team for arranging a Career Fair day for their students. We cannot wait for our students to explore the various careers we have in our amazing community.

Parent to Parent - NEW!!!

Message from a parent: It is helpful, safer, and more expedient when parents remain in the vehicle during morning drop off and pickup time. This way, everyone can be dropped off and dismissed quickly. It will also avoid unsafe situations where cars try to pass one another in an effort to bypass the stopped cars.

Applebee's Above and “Bee”yond Teacher Essay Contest

Applebee’s will award one deserving teacher from each school district a $500 sponsorship check for their classroom for the upcoming year and throw their current class an end of the year party.The contest will end on Sunday, March 13, 2023. Elementary school students can nominate their teacher with a ½ page essay on why their teacher deserves to be Applebee’s Teacher of the Year. Check it out!!!

Student Code of Conduct Committee 

Our district Student Code of Conduct Committee is looking for active and engaged parent representatives to help us with the Code of Conduct revisions this summer. Please contact Dr. Robinson at robinsont@okee.k12.fl.us if you are interested and would like to represent our school, and provide ideas and perspectives. 

2022-2023 Yearbooks

There is still time to order yearbooks! Orders have to be placed online at https://strawbridge.fotomerchanthv.com/search/YB26733. Pre-Order price is $25 , and ordering deadline is April 14, 2023. Specialized pages can be added for cash or check only (not an online option). Full page ad - $75, 1/2 page ad - $40.

All students have access to the Fortify FL reporting app on their Chromebooks. Fortify FL posters posted around campus to remind students they can report suspicious activity at any time using the app.
