Welcome to Week 19!
Welcome to the last week of school prior to the Christmas break! Our students have worked so hard, and many demonstrated great growth on their round two of state assessments. Thank you parents for helping us out by ensuring that students are at school every day to maximize learning.
Our classroom doors are nicely decorated - we will post pictures on Facebook this week. Please vote for your favorite door by giving it a thumbs up!
Many activities for students are planned for the week - check it all out below!
Dress Up Days
We hope you will join everyone in holiday festivities and participate in our dress up days. Check them all out and be part of all the fun!
Kindergarten Christmas Program
Our annual Kindergarten Christmas Program will take place on Wednesday, December 20 at 8:30 AM. Kindergarten families are invited.
2nd 9 Weeks PBIS Days
PBIS Reward Days are scheduled for this week! Above is the outline of all the amazing things teachers have planned to reward positive behaviors of our students.
FAST PM 2
We have concluded our state assessment progress monitoring. Students’ scores are available in the Family Portal. Tutorial invites were sent home with students who could benefit from after school tutoring sessions. Please return these early this week to secure your seat, and request a bus if applicable.
Individual APTT (Academic Parent Teacher Team) meetings will take place in January - be on a lookout for an invite from your child’s teacher after the break!
Early Release Friday
Friday, December 22 is an Early Release Day and students’ dismissal starts at 11:30 AM. We wish everyone a very merry holiday season! School resumes for students on Tuesday, January 9.
New Worlds Reading Family Night - We Will Receive Funds for Every Person Attending!
Please consider signing up for the New Words Reading Family Night! This is also a fundraiser, and we receive funds for each registered family in attendance.
