Welcome to Week 18!
We wish you a very happy New Year of 2021!
Just a reminder that Monday, January 4 is Teacher Work Day and school is closed for students. Starting Tuesday, all learning at NES will take on campus and we no longer offer Option 2. A few of our Option 2 students have transferred to Option 3, but we are excited about most of our students returning to us on Tuesday!
Please ensure that students come to school with a mask (and a spare) each day. Students should bring a water bottle. We continue to take temperatures prior to student and staff intake. Our goal is to keep everyone healthy and at school!
New Staff Members
We have some very exciting news! Please help us welcome two new staff members! Mrs. Cathy Rucks will be joining us as our new Media Specialist. Mrs. Cassandra Pahach will join us as our second full time Exceptional Student Education teacher. We are very excited to have Mrs. Rucks and Mrs. Pahach to join our team!
Tutoring
Just a reminder that kindergarten tutoring ended in December. After school tutoring for invited students in grades 3-5 will continue on Tuesday, January 5.
APTT
It is almost time for our individual Academic Parent Teacher Team meetings! This year, our meetings will take place virtually. Your child’s teacher will contact you to schedule a time to review your child’s progress this school year and discuss the next steps.
