Welcome to Week 14!

Welcome to another week at NES! Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend. Clocks will be turned back one hour.

We hope you get to visit our 4th grade at Our VIllage today for lunch to support the St. Augustine trip! Lunch is sold from 10:30 AM to 1 PM.

Just 8 days to go prior to Report Cards - don’t forget to check your child’s Skyward gradebooks!

Veterans Day

Students brought home a Veterans Day Wall Tile to add to our Veterans Day wall this week. If you have a family member or someone who you know who has served in the armed forces, please help us honor them by decorating the wall tile and turn it in by Tuesday, November 7.

Our Veterans Day program will take place on Friday, November 10 at 9 AM under our PE pavilion. Veterans are invited.

Food Drive

We are participating in the Thanksgiving Food Drive! Students can bring non-perishable food items between now and November 15 to their homeroom class. The homeroom with the most donations will be recognized. All food will stay in the local community.

School Advisory Committee Meeting

Our second SAC meeting of the year will take place on Thursday, November 9 at 4 PM in room 137. Important updates about our school will be shared. This meeting is open to the public.

4th Grade Fundraisers

You can still purchase tickets to Celebrity Server that takes place on Thursday, November 9. Also, consider signing up for the Parent Night Out on Friday, December 1. If you would like to sponsor a student to be able to go on this trip, please contact our office.

Progress Report Day

Progress Report Day is just around the corner, marking the half-way through mark of the 2nd grading period. Please check your child’s grades in Skyward and reach out to the teacher if you have any questions about assignments and/or grades.
