Black History Month Contests
Florida Department of Education and Volunteer Florida encourage students to participate in 2024 Black History Month contests. Students in grades four and five in the elementary division are invited to participate. Student essay contest winners will receive a 2-Year Florida College Plan scholarship provided by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation! All essays are due by February 7.

Student Council Writing Contest
Our Student Council is calling for creative writers! Submissions for this contest are due on February 15.
Social Studies Standards Input
FLDOE is gathering input for the Social Studies standards. These standards should establish the core content to be taught and specify the core content knowledge and skills that K-12 public school students are expected to acquire. After School Tutoring
Tutorial continues this week and it takes place on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and/or Thursday based on the sessions that students signed up for. Thank you parents for always picking your children up on time!

Check out our Valentines Day Sweet Grams fundraisers, organized by 3rd grade!
Jump Rope for Heart
There is still time to donate to Jump Rope for Heart! The event takes place on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 8:15-10:15. There will be music, games, snow cones, a dunk tank, and lots of fun. Students who wish to attend should fill out and return the donation form to Coach Hackett along with a $5.00 to the American Heart Association. All donations and permission slips are due on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
