End of the Year APTT Meetings

Above are the dates for our end of the year APTT meetings. We hope you can attend these important meetings to celebrate our successes and to be up to date with your child’s progress in class.

 

Accelerated Reader Reward Party

A huge shout to all of our readers!!! NES students earned a total of 78,867 AR points this year! The AR party for students who have met their 4th 9 weeks AR goal is on Tuesday, May 24. 

4th 9 Weeks PBIS Days

Students who have followed school rules and procedures and are in good standing with discipline are invited to participate in the various PBIS events that grade levels have planned. What a great way to finish the school year!!!

Medication Pickup

All medication must be picked up by Thursday, May 26. In accordance with the Okeechobee School Health Services Policy, after the last day of school, all student medication left unclaimed in the school clinic will be removed for disposal.

Student medications will not be stored in the school clinic over the summer.

Early Release Day - May 26

May 26 is the last day of school, and it is an early release day. Students are dismissed at 11:30 AM. There is no school on Friday!

Additional At Home Learning Resources

Students can access their web-based instructional programs at https://launchpad.classlink.com/okeechobee. 

To get better at reading and to avoid summer slide, students should read 20 minutes each day.

School Safety

All students have access to the Fortify FL reporting app on their Chromebooks at school. Fortify FL posters posted around campus to remind students they can report suspicious activity at any time using the app.
