Welcome to Week 16!
We hope you have enjoyed our Fall Break and are ready to return on Monday. We have a few days to get acclimated and we will dive right into the State Progress Monitoring during the first week of December. We are excited to see the official results of these mid year assessments.
Thank you for everyone’s generous donations for the Food for Families food drive! The most donations were brought in by Ms. Wagoner’s 2nd grade students.
We are very appreciative of our custodial team who worked hard over the break to ensure there is some Christmas magic in the air when students return to school.
Student Academic Support Meetings
Student Academic Support Meetings are held on Thursday, November 30 focusing on the student population struggling with grade level content (failing grade in a subject area). Individual invites will be sent out to families who are the intended audience, but everyone is welcome to attend to learn more about ways to help your child at home.
Florida Grade-Level Reading (GLR) Campaign
Check out this parent information session that takes place on Thursday, November 30 - facilitated by the Florida GLR staff. This session features BookSmart, a new FREE digital book platform that is available in multiple languages and has fun family engagement recommendations for most books.
