Welcome to week 29 and the beginning of the final 9 weeks of school for the 2021-2022 school year! Let's keep the momentum and finish strong!
Teacher Work Day
Monday, March 21 is a Teacher Work Day and there is no school for students. Students will return on Tuesday, March 22.
Acaletics Spring Break Packets
Students in grades 2-5 who complete and return their Acaletics Spring Break packets on Tuesday are invited to enjoy a snow cone reward event with Mrs. Striebel, our match coach, on Wednesday, March 23.
Report Card Day
Report Cards will be sent home with students on Thursday, March 24. Please sign your child’s report card and have them return it to their homeroom teacher.
3rd 9 Weeks Awards
The 3rd 9 weeks awards for grades 3-5 will take place on Friday, March 25 as follows:
- 8:30 AM - 3rd grade
- 9:15 AM - 4th grade
- 10:00 AM - 5th grade

Congratulations to everyone who met their 3rd 9 weeks reading goals in Accelerated Reader! Students’ reward event Minute to Win It will take place on Friday, March 25.

Say Something Week - March 28
As part of the Sandy Hook Promise, NES will be participating in Say Something Week to bring awareness to recognizing the signs of someone being at-risk, and how to “say something” to a trusted adult to get help.

FSA Parent Night - Thursday, March 31

School Safety
All students have access to the Fortify FL reporting app on their Chromebooks at school. Fortify FL posters posted around campus to remind students they can report suspicious activity at any time using the app.
