The final week prior to the winter break is here - let the count down begin! 

Friday, December 23, is an Early Release Day and students’ dismissal starts at 11:30 AM. Our offices are closed during Winter Break, December 26 - January 6, 2023. Students return on Tuesday, January 10 of 2023.


Family Empowerment Scholarship Letters

Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options will be sent home with students on Thursday, December 22. Please look for this important letter in your child’s take home folder. Florida State Assessment Progress Monitoring Round 2

We have concluded the PM 2 of STAR Early Literacy, STAR (K-2), and FAST (3-5) assessments. Makeup testing for students who have been absent continues this week. Students’ data will be discussed during our Academic Parent Teacher Team Meetings in January. Spirit Days for the Last Week of School

Let’s show our holiday spirit this week!  Our Student Council has selected fun dress up themes of each day of the week. Ms. Peters’ 3rd grade students showed the most spirit on Friday!



Kindergarten Christmas Program

Kindergarten parents are invited to attend our annual kindergarten Christmas Program on Thursday, December 22 at 8:30 AM in our cafeteria.


PBIS Days

PBIS Days are scheduled for this week! Students must be in good standing with discipline to attend.


2nd 9 Weeks AR Goals

There is still time to meet the 2nd 9 weeks AR reading goals! Students who have met their 2nd 9 weeks goals by December 23 will enjoy a hot chocolate bar with Mrs. Williams, our reading coach, on Tuesday - January 10. This 9 week’s goals are as follows:

  • KG: all letters/sounds, 1/2 sight words
  • 1st Grade: 5 points
  • 2nd -3rd Grade: 10 points
  • 4th-5th Grade: 12 points

 

Acaletics Winter Break Packets

Acaletics Winter Break practice packets will be sent home with students in grades 1-5 this week. Students should complete these over the break to keep their math skills sharp. Students who return their packet upon their return from the Winter Break will get to enjoy snow cones with Mrs. Striebel, our math coach, on Friday - January 13.

All students have access to the Fortify FL reporting app on their Chromebooks. Fortify FL posters posted around campus to remind students they can report suspicious activity at any time using the app.
