Welcome to Week 9!
We hope that everyone made it through the storm safely. The fellow Floridians who took a harder hit are in our thoughts. Our campus needed a little clean up, but we are ready to receive students on Monday!
We are also in the process of rescheduling all the events and meetings that were canceled due to the school closure. Due to busing, the start date for NES tutoring for invited students is postponed to Tuesday, October 11.

Kindergarten APTT
Kindergarten APTT meeting is rescheduled for Wednesday, October 5 at 8:15 AM. This will wrap up our fall APTT meetings!
Health Screenings
Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade students will participate in health screenings on Thursday and Friday. An opt out form was shared with the families earlier this year.
Title I Annual Meeting
Our Title I Annual Meeting is rescheduled for Thursday, October 6 at 5 PM in the Media Center. Please join us to learn more about the Title I program at NES!
Kindergarten Bootcamp Graduation
Our Kindergarten Bootcamp Graduation has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 6 following the Title I Annual Meeting. Both events will take place in our Media Center.
4th Grade St. Augustine Fundraiser
Please come and support our 4th grade on October 8 at My Village, Okeechobee! Teachers are cooking and serving to raise funds for the tour buses for our St. Augustine trip. We appreciate your support!

School Safety
All students have access to the Fortify FL reporting app on their Chromebooks. Fortify FL posters posted around campus to remind students they can report suspicious activity at any time using the app.
