Character Trait of the Month - Honesty

Welcome to Week 19!
We are very excited to jump into the 2019 school year with a teacher plan day - an opportunity to fine tune our plans for the remainder of the school year. Our focus remains on raising students’ achievement, and demonstrating learning gains in our lowest performing sub-groups in both reading and math. As we strive at perfection, we understand that perfection is not a destination - it is a journey with ups and downs. We will celebrate our success, and we will work hard to provide support to our students and families when needed. We hope that each day this year at NES is a new adventure, filled with great outcomes and many successes along the way. Happy New Year!

The State of Florida now has a mobile suspicious activity reporting tool that allows students and the community to relay information anonymously concerning unsafe, potentially harmful, dangerous, violent, or criminal activities, or the threat of these activities, to appropriate public safety agencies and school officials. The reports can be made through the FortifyFL mobile app, or at http://www.getfortifyfl.com/. Any student, educator, parent or member of the public can report school safety concerns directly to law enforcement and school administrators using these tools. We hope that you will become familiar with the FortifyFL mobile app and help us spread the word about it in our community as well.

Let’s make this a great week!
Go Tigers!
