Welcome to Week 34!
Welcome to May - the last month of school for the 2020-21 school year! We have endured virtual learning, socially distanced learning, countless Zoom meetings; we have learned during school and after school in various tutoring sessions; we have persevered through the difficulty, and we are ready to show off what we have learned!
Students in grades K-3 will be taking their end of the year iReady diagnostics assessments starting May 3.
Students in grades 3-5 will be participating in the Florida Standards Assessments starting May 4.
Florida Standards Assessments Dates
- May 4-5 4th and 5th grade ELA
- May 10-11 3rd-5th grade math
- May 12-13 5th grade science
Specific assessment dates for students who receive unique accommodations, vary.
Parents, please ensure that studets are in attendance, and at school on time. Students do better on their assessments when they get a good night’s sleep on the day prior to their test. Breakfast is provided at school, free of charge.
We are confident that our students are well prepared, and will do well on their assessments!
Happy Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!
We are thankful for our teachers and staff! North Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization has arranged a little something for our teachers and staff each day this week to show our appreciation for everything that they do. Parents - if you would like to still send something to all of our teachers, please contact Dr. Robinson at robinsont@okee.k12.fl.us to coordinate.
Happy School Lunch Hero Day - May 7!
We would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to our cafeteria staff who serves nutritious breakfast and lunch each and every day.
