Welcome to Week 17!
Thank you to everyone who had the opportunity to walk with us in the city Christmas parade. Our school was well represented! 
There is still time left to shop at our Winter Wonderland  Holiday Shoppe - it stays open until Thursday, December 13!

OHS Drama Club performance; 4th grade 8:20 AM, 5th grade 8:50 AM
Tuesday, 12/11
After school tutoring 3:15 PM
School Board Meeting 6:00 PM. NES will be recognized for our participation in the Food for Families canned food drive event. Mrs. Jerilynn Ward, our ESE inclusion teacher, will be receiving the IT Department Golden Mouse award for her unique and innovative ways of using technology with her students.

4th grade Ag Ventures trip

After school tutoring 3:15 PM. This is the last tutoring session prior to the Christmas break - no tutoring next week!

County Track and Field Event 9:00 at Okeechobee High School
Assessments
iReady Diagnostics 2 window continues. Please talk to your child about this important assessment. Students’ performance on this assessment will determine their iReady online lessons path for the next 9 weeks!
Other School Business
The following programs are available for students to use at home:  iReady - access at https://cainc.i-ready.com/ ?Your child knows his/her username and password. Reflex Math- access at https://www.reflexmath.com/. Your child knows his/her username and password. Another great resource for learning is Khan Academy, available at www.khanacademy.org. It is a free online learning platform that provides additional support and practice opportunities in Math. Students participating in after school tutoring already have their accounts set up.
