Welcome to Week 26!
Thank you everyone for making it possible for so many students to shop at our on site book fair last week! We also had an amazing turnout at the Family Night at the Book Fair.
Way to go Tigers!
Just a reminder that there are only two weeks left of this grading period. Let’s finish strong!
March is Read Aloud Month, Women’s History Month, and also Arts in Education Month! We will kick off the month with several activities to celebrate reading.
Dr. Seuss Birthday
Tuesday, March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, and also Read Across America Day! Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! ABC chicken nuggets will be served for lunch in the cafeteria.
Principal’s Reading Award
All students are encouraged to read at least one book this week! Students are then invited to write a book report (a sample book report template is included but you can get creative). One page reports should be turned in to Dr. Robinson by Friday, March 5. Principal’s Reading Award will be awarded to 10 students with the most creative and thoughtful book reports (award divisions are grades K-1, 2-3, and 4-5).
