Welcome to Week 7

Welcome to another wonderful week at NES!

Thursday, October 2 is National Custodial Worker Recognition Day. Please join us in recognizing our custodial staff Mr. Talavera, Mrs. Garduno, Mrs. Carpio, and Mr. Fraser, and thanking them for keeping our campus clean.

Our Title I Annual Meeting took place on Thursday, September 24. The presentation from this informational meeting can be found on our website under School Updates. For easy access, you can also access the presentation through this link: NES Title I Annual Meeting.

11 Day Student Count

This is the first full week of the FTE survey that looks at students’ assignments into specific classes and courses. Information from this survey is used to determine the funding for our school.

It is more important than ever that students are in attendance this week and the next as we must prove that students have attended school during this time in order for us to receive funding for them.

Week 7 Important Documents

Kindergarten, 1st grade as well as 3rd grade students will be bringing home a Health Screening Opt Out form on Tuesday. Parents are only required to return the form if opting out of the screening.
